Dr. Allen M. Deprey has three decades of experience in chiropractic and holistic care and has been treating patients in private practice since 1990. Our team members, Sandy Sullivan and Gail Calvin are knowledgeable and offer excellent patient care whether it’s assisting our patients with insurance information, scheduling or treatment options.

Allen M. Deprey, D. C. is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College. He has been licensed in Florida since March of 1990. He has been in private practice in St. Augustine since October of 1990.
Born in Fort Kent, Maine (the northern terminus of US) on September 7, 1956, the 7th in a family of 11 children. Studied at the University of Maine at Fort Kent and graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 1978 with a BA in Psychology. Traveled to the west of US for a year where I met my wife and returned to the East to be married and moved to Florida in 1980. I made a living as a carpenter for 5 years before discovering Chiropractic following my work related hip fracture in 1983. After experiencing first hand the amazing recuperative benefits I committed to a career in this field and chose Life Chiropractic College to pursue my studies from 1985-1989. Following my graduation and internship in Daytona Beach we settled on St. Augustine as our new home. We opened Deprey Chiropractic in a small rented unit in St. Augustine Beach on October 2, 1990 with my wife, Marilyn, as my only staff person for the first three years. After 12 years of steady growth, we purchased the building that has become home to not only our office but also the Natural Health Center. This provides individual spaces to ten other alternative healing practitioners including Marilyn’s counseling practice, an AK chiropractor Psychological testing, 6 massage therapists and a human potential counselor. This mix of care givers has evolved over the years to provide a beautiful synergistic multi-disciplinary source of healing and empowerment to patients seeking non-medical avenues to support their well being.
Over the past 30 years, my chiropractic techniques have also evolved to include in addition to the typical methods of Gonstead-Diversified spinal adjustments, other techniques such as: Thompson Drop Table, Activator methods, Lumbar distraction. Extremity Adjustments (shoulder, elbows, wrist, hips, knees, ankles and feet) as well as TMJ correction/management. Also incorporated into practice are Interferential stimulation, hot/cold treatments and ETPS which is electrical (microcurrent) stimulation of acupuncture points to facilitate management of severe pain conditions that make many spinal adjustments unbearable.
In 2006 and 2007 Marilyn and I realized our dream to be parents when we adopted our girls, Alexandra and Madison who have added a beautiful new dimension to our lives.

Sonia graduated from Heath Builders School of Massage right here in St. Augustine over 20 years ago. Since graduating and obtaining her license she had a successful career in the customer service/ retail industry.
In 2019 Sonia took a step back from her career and reignited her passion for natural healing and helping people. Since getting back into the massage field Sonia has been educating herself on new modalities and learning more ways to alleviate pain and help relieve stress.
